Claire Plapp is a caring and empathetic Physiotherapist with over 30 years of clinical experience in Neurological and Vestibular Physiotherapy across acute hospital care, rehabilitation and community settings. Claire has developed an extensive toolkit of skills over her established career which she uses to support each client as individuals, supporting everyone’s unique presentation and treatment goals.

Claire is available for Neurological Physio appointments to assess and treat: 

• Vestibular conditions and vertigo including BPPV, Vestibular Neuronitis, Vestibular Migraine, Meniere’s Disease
• Neurological conditions such as Parkinsons, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis and other less common neurological disorders

Treatment may include:

• Comprehensive assessment of vertigo/ dizziness and treatment with appropriate repositioning manoeuvres or exercises depending on presentation
• Specialist Neurological assessment
• Balance assessments and measurements
• Spasticity assessments and management
• Hands on treatment
• Development and progression of self -management strategies and individualised exercise programs
• Education including falls prevention, migraine management, energy conservation techniques
• Ongoing monitoring and support with longer term management

Lymphoedema Physiotherapy – Claire Plapp

Claire is also an Accredited Lymphoedema Practitioner and registered with the Australasian Lymphoedema Association (ALA). Claire is now available for Lymphoedema care at the clinic.

Claire is a Point Lonny local, a mum of two young adult children and can often be spotted enjoying a stroll along the beach with her family. Clare loves hiking, van-lifing and generally getting out and about in nature.
