Physiotherapist Paul Gilling
With over 25 years of clinical experience, there is not much that Paul has not seen in his time!
Physiotherapist Paul Gilling relocated to the Bellarine in 2017, from Melbourne where he ran a successful physiotherapy practice for more than 20 years. This sea-change was spurred on by his talented daughter Kim, allowing her to pursue her passion of surf-lifesaving.
Paul is a highly experienced physiotherapist, who also possesses a Masters Qualification in Manipulative Physiotherapy. His approach is a blend of more traditional hands-on manipulative physiotherapy which he couples with education & rehabilitation.
Paul enjoys treating people of all ages and abilities and has plenty of experience in the areas of rehabilitation and treatment of back pain. His special interests include neck and back pain as well as sports injuries, particularly those relating to shoulders & swimming.
Paul is enjoying the relaxed lifestyle down on the Bellarine, giving him more time to focus on his patients, family, good coffee haunts & long walks on the beach with beloved Labrador ‘Sparkles’.
Paul is also a puppy trainer for Vision Australia, you may have seen him around the Borough with his first puppy Quarry or more recently with Wallace. As part of Wallace’s training he may accompany Paul into the treatment room from time to time. We understand that not everyone is into dogs so please let reception know if you would prefer Wallace didn’t attend your appointment.
Paul’s extensive experience, good nature & sensible, well-reasoned clinical approach see him as a real asset to the Bellarine.
